I am a 20-something marine navigator living in nova scotia. Always the crafty sort even as a child, I learned how to knit at my grandmothers knee as a wee babe and really picked it up again in University. Over the years I also have dabbled in cross-stitch, embroidery, some crochet (hey- a knitted bikini must have straps, no?), painting, wire beaded jewellery, those funky potholders made out of nylon loops woven together, etc. Basically a little bit of everything. I also have a love affair with cooking and baking and am currently on the search for a melt in your mouth chocolate cake recipe.
